Why Andmi

Andmi is not a normal agency. Far from it. We are an ever evolving network of talented freelancers and boutique agencies from around the globe, coordinated by ex DJI Head of Brand Voice Andy Knight. Whatever your project, large or small, Andmi can adapt to fit, always with the best people for you. We have no offices. No full-time staff. No large overheads of any kind. This means we save big, and pass these savings on to you, without compromising one iota on our work.

We only take on projects that interest us. Projects that we want to get stuck into. Projects that set our pulses racing and our hearts pounding. If you work with us, you know you will have our full and undivided attention.

Our Founder

Andy Knight is a professional copywriter, content marketer, and brand voice expert, with over 13 years of experience. Most recently he was one of a core team of four that transformed drone company DJI from a near-unheard of Chinese tech startup into the Google of the consumer drone space and one of China’s most celebrated technology companies. His passion is giving companies with stellar products the the customer attention they deserve.

DEEP WORK

Our clients do not pay us to answer emails. They pay us for our creativity. This is why we are a Deep Work company. Deep Working is the elimination of distraction. Of social media, phones, emails, and “busy work”. When we are working on your project, it has 100% of our focus. This means we get better results in less time, and it makes us better at what we do. Deep Work does mean that any emails will be answered less than promptly, but that is how you know we are hard at work.

Giving Back

We believe in giving back to our society and protecting our environment. 10% of all Andmi profits are given to a floating pool of charities and conservation organisations including Changing Young Lives, Ocean Conservancy, and WildAid. When you work with us, you help make our world a better place.

Our work

We have worked with myriad clients across many sectors, on projects as varied as video production, electronic direct mail, brochures, video scripts, and large-scale rebranding. While we cannot all of our clients by name, here are a few of our more interesting projects.

The Cruise Line

We helped launch the monthly email newsletter of one of the largest cruise lines in Asia. Working closely with the newsletter team, we created an engaging and inspiring travel magazine that people want to read. This is reflected in open rates that typically surpass 33%.

The Hi-Fi Company

The Hi-Fi sector is extraordinarily competitive, making it tough to stand out. Our work with a British Hi-Fi company on their websites, adverts, and packaging for their portable speaker and headphone ranges combined with the astounding quality of their product has led to international renown.

The CoWorking Space

When a Hong Kong co-working space needed to shoot a 2-week graffiti project on the side of their 25-storey skyscraper, we jumped at the challenge. Using a combination of mounted cameras, timelapse photography, and handheld cameras we created a striking video that now plays throughout the day around the space.

The Money Lender

A Hong Kong money lender came to us at the end of their tether, in desperate need of re-brand after decades without change. This ongoing project includes a comprehensive rethink of their brand values, brand voice and visual language development, and marketing consulting. We are confident of success once the project is complete.
